This study showed the challenges which teenage fathers encountered in school, socioeconomic condition, with their partner and in terms of childcare. The sense of responsibility of teenage fathers in terms of the quality of father-child relationship as well as the time spent between father and child and their investment in paternal role. The relationship of the challenges encountered by teenage fathers and their sense of responsibility was tested. Lastly, their thoughts of being a teenage father and their perceptions of the challenges they encounter in their fatherhood life were also presented. Mixed method research design was used in gathering all the data including quantitative and qualitative data wherein all the quantitative data gathered from the self-made questionnaires and all the qualitative data gathered from interview were analyzed and combined. The teenage fathers were lowly challenged in the problems they encountered. On the other hand, they had a very high level of sense of responsibility. This study showed that there was no significant relationship between the challenges encountered and sense of responsibility of teenage fathers. They thought that becoming a father is all about changing oneself, perseverance, sacrifice, happiness, fear, regret, selflessness, responsibility, shyness, maturity, resourcefulness, having conflicts with partner and with family, giving everything to their.
