Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Operations Management, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. Adviser: Ms. Tita C. Lopez. The study aimed to determine the operational performance of purified water businesses in terms of 4M’s (man, machine, materials, and methods) in compliance to existing set standard by the Department of Health. Specifically, it aimed to: determine the socio-demographic profile of owners/person-in-charge in selected cities of Cavite; determine the business profile of purified water business in selected cities of Cavite; assess the operational performance of purified water business in selected cities of Cavite; identify the common problems encountered by the business; and determine if there is a relationship between business profile and operational performance. Descriptive statistical tools were used in analyzing the data gathered. Frequency and percentage were used to describe the socio-demographic profile of the owners/person-in-charge and business profile of purified water business in selected cities of Cavite. Likert scale was used to assess the operational performance of purified water business. Frequency and rank were also used to determine the common problems encountered by the purified water business in selected cities of Cavite. The relationship of business profile and Operational performance was determined through Spearman's rank correlation. It was revealed that the most of the participants who were manage of the business were male, married, middle-aged, and college graduates. It was also revealed that most of the participants were operating for 6 to 10 years in the industry. In terms of their source of water, it was revealed that 89.4 percent of the Participants used tap water. The business ownership of the participants was sole proprietorship and most their market were households. It was also revealed that there is a significant relationship between business profile and operational performance of purified water business in selected cities of Cavite.
