Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Cavite State University. April 2016. Thesis Adviser: Ms. Ana Ruth M. Andalajao. This study aimed to determine; (1.) the demographic profile of the participants in terms of number of children, weekly income, work, frequency, and duration of work; (2.) parenting style of working mothers as authoritarian, authoritative, neglectful and permissive; (3.) stress level of working mothers; (4.) significant relationship between the demographic profile and parenting style of the participants; (5.) significant relationship between parenting style and stress level of the participants, and (6.) significant relationship between demographic profile and stress level of the participants). The study was conducted from December 2015 to January 2016. Descriptive Correlational was the research design used by the researchers. The participants were 40 working mothers. The instrument used in the study was self made and validated questionnaire. Two parts of questionnaires composed of 39 items for stress level, while 40 items for parenting style were utilized to gather the needed data. Based on the data gathered, most of the participants earned less than P1000 income per week, 2 to 3 number of children, 7 to 9 hours duration of work, most of their work are household help, and 3 to 5 frequency of call. The result revealed that the demographic profile and parenting style has no significant relationship. In parenting style, most of the participants used authoritative parenting. The study shows that the parenting style has no significant relationship to stress level. Moreover, it was found that demographic profile in terms of number of children, weekly income, work, frequency, and duration of work has no significant relationship to stress level of the participants.
