Abstract: This farm practice was conducted at Bancod, Indang, Cavite from September 22 up to December, 1990. It aimed to achieve efficiency in pork production and thereby maximize profit as well as to have actual exposure and to put into practice what has been theoretically learned inside the classroom. The three weanlings used as stock had a total initial weight of 31.5 kilograms with an average of 10.5 kilograms. They were housed in a clean and disinfected pen. At the start of the farm practice, the stock were fed with commercially available hog mash. At the end of the project, the animals registered a total gain in weight of 138.5 kg, feed consumption of 500 kilograms and feed efficiency of 3.61 kilograms. The actual operational expenses of the project amounted to P6,188.00. The total sales was 08,186.50 giving a net return of P1,998.50.
