The study entitled Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Style of selected Supervisors in Manufacturing Industries in Cavite aimed to determine the significant relationship between emotional intelligence and leadership style of the participants. Specifically, the study aimed to present the demographic profile of selected supervisors; determine the emotional intelligence in terms of self-awareness, self-regulation, selfmotivation, empathy and social skills; and leadership styles in terms of autocratic, democratic and laissez faire leadership. One hundred twenty-three (123) supervisors were selected as participants through purposive sampling. The researchers gathered data using survey questionnaire. The Emotional Intelligence Self-Evaluation by Dr. Nicholas Hall was administered among the participants to determine the emotional intelligence. Likewise, leadership styles of the participants were determine by administered Leadership Style Self-Assessment of Robert K. Conyne. Based on the results of the study, majority of the supervisors were females. In terms of age, most of the supervisors belonged to the age group of 26-30 years old. Eighty-three percent of the respondents finished bachelor degree and 1-3 years in service. The level of emotional intelligence of the respondents was above average. This indicated that the participants have very good attitude, perception and practice which satisfy optimum organizational performance. Furthermore, self-motivation was the most practiced domains of emotional intelligence of the participants which help them to manage team members with a mean of 3.76. The supervisors exhibited different leadership styles depending on the situation and have good ability to encourage people in accomplishing organizational goals. Moreover, Laissez Faire leadership style was the most common style of leadership of the participants with a mean of 3.45. The study revealed that there is no significant relationship between emotional intelligence and leadership style of selected supervisors in manufacturing industries in Cavite.
