Abstract: This entrepreneural project was a self financed activity of the farm practice student. This was conducted at the student's residence in Luksuhin, Alfonso, Cavite from October 1989 to February 1990. The feeder stock had an initial weight of 130 kilograms. A total final weight of 175 kilograms was obtained. At the end of the project, the fattened cattle with a total operating expenses of P5,237.00 was marketed. It gave a gross income of P6,825.00. Thus, a net labor return of P1,318.00 was realized. The managerial skills acquired in the conduct of this project were: how to select a good fattening cattle; prevention of pests and diseases; proper feeding to obtain a good daily gain in weight; providing shelter; marketing and record keeping.
