Abstract: BAES, SARAH A., CERVANTES, JERSON E. and TELINTELO, JAMILLE DARYN L. Implementation of Trece Martires City Parole and Probation Programs: An Assessment. Undergraduate Thesis, Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Mrs. Famela Iza Cabe-Matic. The study was conducted from May 2016 to May 2017 in Trece Martires City, Cavite to evaluate the implementation of Trece Martires City Parole and Probation programs. Specifically, this study aimed to 1. determine the assessment of the parole and probation officers, probationers and parolees on the Parole and Probation Programs in terms of therapeutic community, restorative justice, and volunteerism; 2. determine the impact of parole and probation programs of Trece Martires City Parole and Probation to probationers and parolees in terms of economic stability, moral standards, spiritual belief, social acceptance and victim-offender relationship; and 3. determine whether there is a significant relationship between the probationers and parolees’ programs and the impact of these programs to probationers and parolees. The participants were 65 including the parole and probation officers, probationers and parolees of Trece Martires City Parole and Probation Office. The researchers conducted face-to-face interview after the participants finish answering the survey questionnaire. Quantitative data analysis was used in this study. Statistical treatments utilized were the mean and the Pearson's Product Moment Correlation was used. The researchers concluded that the three main programs namely: therapeutic community, restorative justice and volunteerism were properly implemented. In addition, there was a positive impact between the overall programs of Trece Martires City Parole and Probation Office and present situation of the participants before and during the clients undergo the programs. Also, there is a significant relationship between the three main programs of the Trece Martires City Parole and Probation Office and overall present situation of probationers and parolees. Since the programs under Trece Martires City Parole and Probation Office were all implemented, the researchers can only recommend continuing and strengthening these programs for more positive reformation and rehabilitation of probationers and parolees.
