This study was conducted to determine the relationship between physical fitness
and academic achievement of Grade IV pupils in Kaytitinga Elementary School
Kaytitinga, Alfonso, Cavite, S.Y. 2016-2017. Participants were 133 Grade Four pupils.
Descriptive research designed was utilized and a T-Value was used to determine the significant relationship between academic achievement and physical fitness of Grade
Four pupils.
Findings of the study revealed that most of the participants of the study were male with 72 out of 133 pupils (54.135%). The study found out that there was no significant
relationship between the academic achievements and physical fitness of Grade Four pupils of Kaytitinga Elementary School.
The outcome of the study may be used for further research. In order to deepen the
significance of the study, the proponents recommend future researchers to conduct the same study in Science School.
