A study was conducted at Cavite State University in Indang, Cavite to evaluate the effect of presence and absence of coach in Team Sport during game as perceived by Athletes. Specifically the study determined the effect of presence and absence of coach in Team Sport during game as perceived by Athletes. In order to know the demographic profile, the researchers identified the participants’ age, gender, team sport and playing years. The study used the categories of presence and absence of coach as perceived by the participants which might have a huge effect during the game of the athletes. A total of 80 varsity athletes were surveyed using a research questionnaire to identify the effect of the presence and absence of coach during the game. All information gathered using the research instrument was served as the primary sources of data. Frequency counts, weighted mean and standard deviation was used to determine the demographic profile of the participants and to identify the presence and the absence of the coach. Wilcoxon Signed Ranked Test was utilized to answer the objectives of the study. The study revealed that majority of the participants were female and belongo 19 to 20 age group. They were around 3 and 4 to 5 playing years and most of them are volleyball players. The finding also revealed that majority of the respondents consider that they have a high self-esteem if their coach is around during the game and average when the coach is absent during the game.
