The study was conducted to determine the relationship of perceived factors on business financial planning practices of construction industry in selected areas of. Cavite. It aimed to determine the business profile of construction industry in selected areas of Cavite; Specifically, it aimed to determine the level of influence of perceived factors on business financial planning practices of construction industry in selected areas of Cavite; the level of importance of business financial planning practices of construction industry in selected areas of Cavite; determine the relationship between perceived factors and business financial planning practices of construction industry in selected areas of Cavite; and problems encountered by construction industry. Participants of the study were 98 construction industry in selected areas of Cavite, namely: Bacoor City, Dasmarinas City, General Trias City, and Imus City. Frequency count,' mean and range were used in &scribing the business profile of the • .4, respondents, perceived fact9rs on business financial planning, business financial planning practices and problems encountered of construction industry. Pearson R was used to measure the relationship between perceived factors and business financial planning practices. Most of the participants had been operating their businesses for three to six years, with initial capital of 100,000 to 500,000. Majority of construction industry were sole proprietorship and engaged in residential construction. Among the three business financial planning practices, budgeting and financial forecasting were highly important practice used by the construction industry. The very high influential perceived factor on business financial planning practices was cost increment with the general rating of 4.30. Changes in raw materials were the common problem encountered by the construction industry. Results show that relationship of perceived factors was highly significant with business financial planning practices.
