Abstract: CARISTEA, MARK RAYMOND D., ROLLO, ZOREN D. Development of Snake N’ Numbers: An Android Game Application. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University-Indang Campus, Indang Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Mr. Marlon R. Perefia. The Development of Snake N’ Numbers: An Android Game Application was developed to provide the students a mobile game application that can help the children aging 7 — 10 years old students to develop their foundation in Mathematics, especially in counting numbers and enhance their counting memory and number recognition and to gain back the interest in mathematics. The researchers used survey questionnaire and interview to gather data from the guardians and teachers of student aging 7 to 10 years old. The study includes four (4) modules including Game module, Setting module, Leaderboard module and Mechanics module. The researchers used the Spiral Methodology as a guide in developing the mobile application. It contains four (4) phases: identification phase, design phase, construct and build phase and evaluation and risk analysis phase. In the software evaluation, the researchers used the following criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability and user- friendliness. The mobile application was evaluated by the IT professionals and guardians of the students aging 7 to 10 years old. The software had met all the needed requirements and passed all the requirements for the evaluation. The software quality contains the standard set of characteristics including functionality, reliability, usability. Efficiency, maintainability, portability and user-friendliness. Overall results for technical and non- technical evaluation of the application was judged to be “excellent”.
