Abstract: ANTONIO, BENJAMIN JOHN V., AUXTERO, EDZEL A., STA.ANA, HEROBERT, and SY, BENNIE M., Development of Automated Lighting System for the Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology Building. Undergraduate Thesis, Bachelor of Industrial Technology Major in Electrical Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Prof. Emerson C. Lascano. The researchers conducted a study to develop an automated lighting system. The system was made to help switch the lights on and off in a more convenient way via Bluetooth connected to the ALS switch application. The study is specifically aimed to design/develop an Automated Lighting System; install the Automated Lighting System; and test and evaluate the Automated Lighting System. The automated lighting system was designed and developed for an easier way to turn the lights on and off. The list of materials used in this study are the following: microcontroller unit, Bluetooth module, relay module, direct current (DC) power supply, miniature circuit breaker (l OAT), selector switch, magnetic contactor, pilot lamp (white, green), terminal block 25Ampere. The control panel used Arduino UNO as microcontroller which executes the program to control. As a result of the evaluation, the automated lighting system is considered functional and can be used for future references. The study was proven effective on its capability to meet its objectives. The automated lighting system had a total cost of P 32, 491.00.
