Abstract: CAPILLO, JOHN JAMES M. AND RACELLE P. MORALES, EXPOSING THE DEEDS OF DARKNESS: The Level Of Awareness, Knowledge, Attitude And Practice, Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of Selected Teenagers on Satanic Symbols Undergraduate Thesis. BA Mass Communication. Major in Journalism. Cavite State University. Indang, Cavite. April 2002. Adviser. Dr. Marinelia A. Torrea. The study entitled EXPOSING I HE DEEDS OF DARKNESS: The Level Of Awareness, Knowledge, Attitude And Practice Of Selected Teenagers On Satanic Symbols was conducted at the Cavite State University Laboratory School during the school year 2001-2002. This study aimed to find out the number of times the respondents were exposed to the tape and to know the awareness, knowledge, attitude and practice on satanic symbols of selected teenagers. The statistical measures applied were T-test, frequency counts, and percentages. It was found out that most of the student- respondents were highly aware of these kinds of satanic symbols. Most of the respondents admitted that they have seen those symbols in some fashion accessories, shirt logo, vandalism or gang logo, and MTV video design and even in films. After watching the lecture tape, they also admitted that a lot of teenagers were using those symbols because they were in fashion. Finally, it was discovered that there was a great significance between watching Exposing the Deeds of Darkness and the Level of Awareness, Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of Selected Teenagers before and after watching the lecture tape.
