Abstract: ERANA, ARTURO C. Applied Research IV (Agricultural Science Curriculum) Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite, April, 1989. "Germination and Early Growth of Calamansi Seeds as Affected by Stratification Duration. and Chemical Treatments." Adviser: Mr. Alejandro C,. Mojica. The study entitled "Germination and Early Growth of Calamansi Seeds as Affected by Stratification Duration and Chemical Treatments'* was conducted in Binambangan, Indang, Cavite from July 1988 to December 1988 to find out the effect of treating calamansi seeds for its germination and early growth of the seedlings. An experimental area of about three square meters Was used and thoroughly prepared. ‘The area was: divided into three blocks representing three replications. It was further subdivided into six. plots to represent the six treatments, The Randomised Complete Block Design (RCBD) was used in this study. Vegetative growth of calamansi seedlings was significantly affected by stratification duration as compared to other treatments i'm the study, Highest seedlings with the most number of roots and leaves were obtained in T, (three days stratification),
