This Farm Practice was conducted at Don Severino Agricultural College, poultry Project, Indang, Cavite from September to November, 1982 to determine the cost and return of broiler production. A total of 200 day—old chicks were accommodated. Strict hygiene and sanitation was followed in the project. Adequate feeds, water and proper ventilation were provided throughout the production to obtain vigorous birds. The birds were fed ad libitum using commercial broiler mash. Mortality was eight percent. Birds were already immunized. The cost of producing a kilogram broiler is about Y511.09 per kilo of bird.
