The study was made for the benefit of the instructors and students of Fundamentals of Programming of Cavite State University, which provides instruction support that the user could employ based on his/her capacity, provides an instructional
material that is readily accessible via computer and serves as an additional online education instrument to users' studying the subject.
The software was developed using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), JavaScript,
Hypertext Mark-up Language (HTML), Apache Server, MySQL Server, and Macromedia. Paper prototyping was used as the paradigm.
There are two levels of access for the software: administrator and students. It contains home, lessons, glossary, my profile, change password, and other related topics
for the students and home, lessons, record, glossary, exam, and change password for the
administrator. The administrator is in charge of maintaining the database. Users are required to login with definite username and password before they can use the software
so, there is a security protection.
Future enhancements of the software should allow the updating of lessons based
on the current standard course analysis of the subject Fundamentals of Programming. It must also incorporate the use of modern operating system including UNIX and
WINDOWS NT for quick interaction and feedback. The software should be uploaded in
able to serve as a reference to the students taking up the said subject.
