Abstract: FELISMINO, DAVID C. and PABALAN, CAMILLE JOY D. CVSU KALAKAL: Development of E-Commerce for Agricultural Products in Cavite State University-Main Campus. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. December 2019. Adviser: Prof. Gladys G. Perey. The study was conducted from August 2016 to June 2019 at the Office of Business Affairs and Food Processing, and College of Engineering and Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite to develop CvSU Kalakal: Ecommerce for agricultural products in Cavite State University — Main Campus. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1. provide an environment wherein they can set a possible minimum range for them to be able to deliver the products; 2. identify and analyze the problems encountered in monitoring and keeping data records in production with the use of traditional storage of data; 3. design a system that will make the process of selling transaction more efficient, fast and reliable; and 4, develop an online marketing website to provide better communication and interaction between the seller and buyer of agricultural products. The study was guided by the work flow of the iterative methodology. The system was developed using PHP embedded with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and series of testing, evaluation and demonstrations were held. The system hag five different modules: 1. account module where the users account information was stated; 2 advertisement module which provides all the necessary information about the products that the organization is selling; 3. the order module wherein the customers make the adding of the product into cart and order process happens; 4. payment module which provides the summary of the orders, and where the purchasing process is happening; and 5, the report module that provides all the reports of the inventory and gales records, The study hag two level of access: for the administrat0fi and for the client / end users, The testing phase was conducted in different levels such as the unit testing, integration testing, and system testing. From the evaluation of the system, the overall rating of the system was excellent denoting satisfactory marts. The summary result of technical evaluation for the overall average of mean was 4.5 and for the overall average mean of non-technical evaluation were 4.38, The overall average mean of the evaluation was 4.44. This means that the system was ready for a possible deployment. The system aimed to improve the manual operation of the organization. After software evaluation, the following are hereby recommended: I . add an online payment method that accepts Master Card, Visa Card, or any credit/debit card to make the payment transaction more convenient to the customers; 2. Create a communication module like chat function that would help the customer and seller to connect and understand each other; and 3. Include a comment section and a rating function on each product to enable the customer to give feedback, and allow the seller to make necessary changes based on the feedback.
