Abstract: MOJICA, DANIEL GREG N., and QUILLA, CARTER JOHN S. Development of Faculty Monitoring System for College of Engineering and Information Technology. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. January 2020. Adviser: Ms. Gladys G. Perey. Faculty monitoring system is a software developed for daily faculty schedule monitoring in schools and institutions. The faculty monitoring system for College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) is a customized software that shows the location of the faculty members and their destinations within the school premises. The major goal of the developed system was to easily locate a faculty member, to disseminate the information to the students rapidly, and to immediately update the information of the faculty's whereabouts. The developed system helps the students of the CEIT to minimize the time in locating the corresponding faculty personnel. The researchers used iterative methodology for the research method. Its phases include initial planning, design, implementation phase, testing phase, and evaluation phase. The individual modules were tested to determine the system functionality. Selected faculty members of CEIT evaluated the system in-order for them to familiarize themselves to each module and its functions. In order to resolve all the problems encountered by the faculty members and students of CEIT, the researchers developed the faculty monitoring system. Based on the results of the study, the researchers concluded that the system provides solutions to the issues existing in the college. During the development of the system, the researchers conducted the unit testing, system testing, and acceptance testing. The researchers recommended with regards to the system that it is highly advisable to double click the faculty member's details and input the password for a quick change of whereabouts. It is also recommended to include all the faculty members in the display screen. The evaluators helped the researchers by giving their opinions for other possible outcomes of the system. The overall non-technical evaluation for faculty personnel on the system got a mean score of 4.27 with a standard deviation of 0.64 which was interpreted as "Excellent" and for the student overall non-technical evaluation got a mean score of 4.49 with a standard deviation of 0.67 which was interpreted as "Excellent". The overall result of the technical evaluation is 4.35 for the mean and 0.53 for the standard deviation that signifies "Excellent".
