Abstract: INOSANTO, CARL ALEXON C., NUESTRO, IAN JAMES LEMUEL C. and PEGOLLO, JOHN KENNETH C. Development of E-learning System in Events Management in Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Mr. Marlon R. Perena The proposed system entitled "Development of E-Learning System in Events Management in Cavite State University" was developed to solve the problems existing on conducting events being encountered by the management such as organizing or hosting an event, lacking of financial budget, lack of knowledge on how to manage an event and have no idea in managing an event. The system is consisting of eight modules these are Account Management Module, two parts of Announcement Module these are Communication Module and Forum Module, two parts of Course Management Module these are Event Module and Lecture Module, Assessment Module, Records Module and Budget Calculator Module. Iterative methodology was the approach used in developing the entire system. It allowed the researchers to develop the software, analyzed the problem and designed the system, implemented bugs and were errors corrected, tested and evaluated the functionality of the software. Iterative model consists of five different phases: Planning and Requirements, Analysis and Design, Implementation, Testing and Evaluation. For the application, Php programming language was used by the researchers, MySQL for database, Adobe Photoshop CS6 for the design and evaluates the system through unit system and integration testing. The system deployed and evaluated by 103 participants composed of instructors and students. Based to the overall evaluation results, the system was judged to be "Excellent". According in the result of non-technical evaluation was 4.22 for the mean and 0.54 for standard deviation is excellent. For the result of technical evaluations was 4.33 for the mean and 0.67 for the standard deviation. Upon the completion of the study, the researchers concluded that the system was effective in checking the format applied of the student in a writer activity provided by the highlighted generated file and list of errors together with the correction to make the work of instructor easier. Based on the results, the study shows that the software was interpreted as excellent in efficiency user friendliness and functionality of the system.
