This study aimed to determine spending and saving behavior of generation Y employees in selected casual dining restaurants in Cavite. Specifically, this study aimed to determine the socio-demographic profile of generation Y in cities of Cavite; describe the estimated spending and saving of generation Y employees in selected casual dining restaurants; determine the employees' spending and saving behavior; and identify the relationship between the spending and saving behavior of generation Y and socio-demographic characteristics. The participants of the study were 153 generation Y casual dining restaurant employees in three cities of Cavite, namely: Dasmariñas, Imus and Tagaytay City. Mean and frequency count were used to describe the socio-demographic of the participants. Likert scale was used to determine the level of implementation of the spending and saving behavior of the participants. Chi-square formula was used to measure the relationship between generation y employees' spending and saving behavior to socio-demographic profile. Results revealed that spending behavior was significantly related to age. It is also revealed that saving behavior was significantly related when it comes to the age of the generation Y employees in selected casual dining restaurants.
