Abstract: RADAN , NORMAN C. Don Severino Agricultura1College, Indang, Cavite, April, 1989.. Relationship Between Yields and Cultural Management Practices Employed by Robusta Coffee Farmers in Selected Barrios of Indang Cavite. Adviser: Mrs. Leonora Atas Mojica. The study was conducted to determine the best combination of the different cultural management practices which gives better yields. A total of thirty-five (35) respondents were included in the study 0 Data were gathered through questionnaires and personal interviews. Findings showed that the cultural management practices employed by coffee farmers in Indang , Cavite were pruning, weeding, fertilization, and shading. Two methods of cultural management practices were observed. These were the combination of pruning, weeding, fertilization, and shading, (PWFS) and the combination of pruning, weeding and fertilization, (PWF) in the second combination, (PWF), shades are removed during production stage. Majority or of the farmers practiced the combination of PW, only 29% employed the combination PWFS.Results of the study showed that the combination PWF gave a higher yield than the combination. It was also found out that yield was significantly related to the combination of cultural management practices. This seemed to show that PWF was the best combination of cultural management practices.
