Abstract: PANGANIBAN, LE I LANI BUENAFE, n Esguerra' s Anthurium Farm, Alfonso, Cavite: A Case Study, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Major in Agricultural Economics, Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite, April l, 1994 Adviser: Mr. Danilo V. Jeciel . The case study was conducted to ; determine the operations of the farm in terms of production, management, market i ng and financial aspects ; identify the problems encountered by the farm and suggest possible so l u t ions to such problems. The study was conducted at Esguerra' s Anthurium Farm in Alfonso, Cavite from December 1993 to February 1994 every Thursday to Saturday. Relevant data and information were gathered through observations, actual interviews with the manager and laborers of the farm. The study shows that the management operation of the farm is fair enough because the caretaker follows the rules and regulations in performing the activities in the farm. Other problem was low productivity which can be attributed to the attack of pests and occurrence of diseases, but the farm can be considered as having efficient level of production. Results of the cost and returns analysis showed that the Esguerra' s Anthurium Farm is operating profitability. Total return was estimated at P 128,960.00 while cost was P37 , 010.00, giving a net income of P91 ,950.OO as of December 1993
