Abstract: AGRIMANO, AIRAH MAE J. "Inventory System of APC by Schneider Electric". Undergraduate Case Study, Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Operations Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017, Adviser: Prof. Gilberto S. David. The study was conducted in APC by Schneider Electric Corporation by Schneider Electric at Lot 1 Blk 5 Phase 2, PEZA Rosario, Cavite from February 2017 to May 2017. The objectives of the study were to describe the profile and operations of the company, describe the inventory management system of the firm, to evaluate the effectiveness of the inventory management system of the firm, to analyze the inventory control system of the company using SWOT analysis, to identify the existing problems faced by the company in terms of inventory management, and recommend feasible solution to the problems identified in inventory management. The data gathered were from the records of the firm, including its handbook, personal interviews, and observations of the researcher in her one-month stay in the company. Descriptive method was used in analyzing the information gathered to describe the inventory management system with the aid of process flow chart. The process starts with supplier selection and ends with the recording of supplies. SWOT analysis was also used to analyze the existing inventory control system. The researcher also pointed out some practices to determine the effectiveness of the company's inventory management system. After a thorough analysis, the study shows that the flow of inventory management system of APC by Schneider Electric had certain constraints. The processes involved in the inventory management were tedious and may require time for its completion which may delay the production process. The researcher also recommended some feasible solutions for the problems that she encountered during her stay in the company. Results of the study shows that APC by Schneider Electric has encountered some constraints in managing the company's daily operations especially regarding with their inventory, but the company has managed it efficiently.
