The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many changes in all aspects of life,
particularly in education. The Philippines is one of the countries that has shifted its
educational setup to an online and modular learning mode. This study utilized
quantitative methods to measure the level of attitude and preparedness of students
towards flexible learning. Majority of the participants are from Criminology with 345
respondents and 72 respondents from BS Industrial security management with the total
of 417 respondents.
In this study, student preparedness in terms of the devices and internet
connectivity, students attitude in terms of ; environmental factor, time management, study
habit, interest, class productivity and working relationship with other students
are the themes that were developed based on the respondents answer. The study found
that the respondents are only prepared in terms of device and internet connectivity. But
when it comes to environmental conditions and study habits they are having a problem.

problem. The biggest challenge for the students was related to their home learning
environment. During online classes, there are many interruptions that affect students'
learning process, such as: B. Noise from vehicles, animals, neighbors, family members,
insufficient light, wrong temperature, study room that is not well ventilated and that some
of the students do not even have a proper room or study.
