"SITE DEVELOPMENT OF OPEN AREA OF FACULTY VILLAGE AT CAVITE STATE UNIVERSITY". Design Project Adviser: Engr. Renato B. Cubilla. The design project "Site Development of the Open Area of Faculty Village at Cavite State University" was conducted at the Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite from July 2001 to February 2002. Specifically, it was aimed to provide plans and documents as reference of the administrations for the future implementation of its constructions and develop a scaled miniature model. The area covered by the design project was divided into six blocks: Block 1, and Block 3 with an area of 1,580 sq. meters; Block 2, 4 and 6 with 1,280 sq. meters, Block 5 with 800 sq. meters, Block 6 with 1,580 sq. meters. Block 5 and 6 had 10 and 16 single detached units while blocks 1, and 3 had 30 row house units, block 2, and 4 had 24 row house units with an open space of 30 %, respectively. Among the procedures followed in the design were: site investigation, detailed survey, computation of profiles, and estimate. Based from the study and investigation, it can be concluded that the design of open area followed proper guidelines and procedures in the development of land based from the National Housing Building Code. The authors recommend structural design to prove the safety of the building. The authors also recommend that the cut and fill of area are showed and computed.
