Abstract: PAJES, CHARLENE B. and ZAMORA, NYKKIE A. Remote Desktop Virtualization Software of Central Computer Laboratory for the College of Engineering and Information Technology. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. October 2014. Adviser: Ms. Gemmae G. Pitong. The study was conducted at Cavite State University, College of Engineering and Information Technology. The study aimed to aid the instructors, technicians, students, and other users in monitoring a single Central Computer Laboratory (CCL) and to provide an alternative in utilizing the projectors in the college. A total of 360 students, 20 faculty members of the Department of Information Technology, and one (1) CCL Head served as the respondents and prospective users of the software. The study was developed from January 2013 to October 2014. Software development methodology was used as the framework in the completion of the study. Remote Desktop Virtualization Software (RDVS), the developed software, used Karn’s Algorithm. It utilized a network connection in communicating the server and the clients. The software saves the records of all the users of the laboratory room, as well as the remarks concerning a computer, and generates reports. The software allows an instructor to remotely control the computer of a specific student and view the minimized computers of all students. The software is able to present demonstrations and relaying of personal messages through chat. The software was evaluated using the standard questionnaire for the software evaluation according to the following criteria: user-friendliness, user interaction and
