Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies. Cavite State University-Main Campus City of Indang, Cavite June 2022. Adviser: Luzvie Mae Manalaysay. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between Age and Humor perception of the students and personnel of College of Arts and Sciences at Cavite State University-Main Campus Indang, Cavite. Specifically, this study was designed to analyze the humor perception of Generation X, Y, and Z in terms of Joke, Satire and Sarcasm and determine the significant relationship between the participant's generation and humor perception. The results revealed that first, the humor perception of Generation X resulted to general weighted mean of 3.39 interpretation of completely understood the humor and they fine with it, second the humor perception of Generation Y resulted to general weighted mean of 3.34 interpretation of completely understood the humor and they fine with it, third the humor perception of Generation Z resulted to general weighted mean of 3.35 interpretation of completely understood the humor and they fine with it towards the humor statements presented. Even the finding lies on the interpretation that the participants understood the humor and they are fine with it, the results still show that there is a significant relationship between the participant's generation and humor perception.
