PERENA, MARK ANTHONY S. Correlation of Demographic Profile and Personality Type of High School Students of Mendez-Nunez Montessori. Undergraduate thesis. Bachelor of Science major in Psychology. Cavite State University. April 2007. Adviser: Mrs. Amor A. Santiago.
This study was conducted to find out the correlation of the demographic profile and the personality type of the high school students of Mendez-Nunez Montessori conducted from November to December 2006.
It aimed to (a) determine the demographic profile of the high school students of Mendez Nunez Montessori in terms of age, gender, number of siblings, guardian, educational attainment of the parents, occupation of the parents and monthly family income; (b) categorize the different personality type of the respondents, and; (c) know the relationship of demographic profile on the personality type of the high school students of Mendez-Nunez Montessori.
The respondents of the study were the 89 high school students of Mendez-Nunez Montessori or the whole high school population. The questionnaire to determine the respondent's personality type was adapted from the book "Coming Alive from Nine to Five": A Career Search by Betty Neville Miche Lozzi while the personal data sheet to determine the demographic profile of the respondents was made by the researcher.
Results revealed that the demographic profile including the respondent's age, gender, number of siblings, guardian, educational attainment of the parents, occupation of the parents and monthly family income has no significant relations to the personality type of the respondents that made the hypothesis accepted.
