An undergraduate Case Study, Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Economics, Cavite State University, April 1998. Adviser: Mrs. Cecilia T. Cayao. A three-month case study was conducted at Cavite Nagano Seiko Incorporated (CNSI), an automobile and electrical parts export company based in First Cavite Industrial State Brgy. Langkaan, Dasmarinas, Cavite from December 1997 to February 1998. It was conducted to apply gained knowledge, skills and tools in Business Management to actual business operations. It also aimed to gain knowledge in the automobile industry, analyze the production operations of Cavite Nagano Seiko Incorporated and recommend solutions to the problems encountered by the company. The study concentrated on the production operations of the business. Relevant information were gathered through observations and personal interviews with employees. Other data were gathered from the CvSU library. It was found that there is laxed implementation of the company’s rules and regulations. It is recommended that the management should strictly implement rules and regulations to maintain discipline among the employees. There should also be a head of Accounting and Finance Division who can take charge of the proper recording of financial data such as sales, expenses and other requirements necessary in determining the income and expenses of the business.
