Abstract: MARTINEZ, LORD AMIEL DILIG Asia Brewery, Incorporated: (Waste Material). Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness, Don Severino Agricultural College. April 1997. Adviser, Mr. Florindo Ilagan. This study was conducted in Barangay Sala, Cabuyao, Laguna at Asia Brewery, Incorporated. Orientation was done about the firm, and tour to the whole plant was conducted to familiarize about the location of the firm. Data were gathered through personal interviews. The author was able to know the different procedures in the process of by-products at the start of production up to the last part of the operation and he was able to observe and saw the total volume of production of by-products. In marketing the by-products, the buyer himself picked up the by-product from the firm. By-products are sold as low as 0.35 centavos/kilo. In 1995, the total sales of by- product was P10,080,000. The net income for that year was P8,080,000. The buyers of their by-product were the big farm owners, and some cooperative organizations engaged in cattle farming business. How the firm can prolong the useful life of the product and how to increase the total production of spent grain were some of the problems encountered.
