It aimed to develop the students' skills and knowledge through practice and experience, and to give information and recommendations regarding new techniques in improved management practiced in corn growing for maximum production and profit. An area of 567 meter land was fertilized afterthe final harrowing. Complete fertilizer and urea was applied basally before planting. Planting was done on October 5, 1986. The recommended amount of fertilizer was applied twice before planting while the next fertilizer application was done when the plants were almost knee-high. A total of 155 kilograms of corn were marketed at Indang Public Market at #5.00/kg for corn. The gross income was ¥775.00. After deducting the actual cost of production (#560.00), a net income of $250.00 was realized.
