Abstract: COSTELO, ROMEL D., DE GUZMAN, CAMILLE A. and REGALA, RACHELLE P., Development of an Artificial Intelligent Player for Game of the Generals Undergraduate Thesis, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. March 2011. Adviser: Mr. Mark Steve Poniente. The study was conducted to develop a game software version of Game of the Generals with Artificial Intelligence together with the mechanics and rules of the manual board game. The sofiware provides the functionality of having an artificial intelligent opponent through UCT Algorithm with the application of Touch Screen interface. Prototyping Development Approach Methodology was used in the development of the game software that includes Planning, Analysis, Design, Architectural Design, Prototype Analysis and Design, Prototype Construction and Prototype Testing and Evaluation. Software used in the study were the following: Windows XP, which was used as the operating system; and Microsoft Visual Basic. Net 2008 Express Edition as the programming language. The software was evaluated based on the given criteria: User Friendliness and Interaction, Reliability, Consistency, Accuracy, Efficiency, Information and Technical Aspects of the program. Evaluators were composed of High School and College students, and professionals. The software passed all the given criteria in the evaluation and met all the requirements of the software.
