Fidel The study was conducted from August 2016 to May 2017 in eight areas of Cavite to determine the perception and attitude of employers towards work competency of physically challenged employees. Specifically, this study accomplished to determine the demographic characteristics of employers in selected areas of Cavite; determine the perception of employers towards work competency of physically challenged employees; determine the attitude of employers towards work competency of physically challenged employees; determine the relationship between demographic profile and perception; determine the relationship between demographic profile and attitude; and determine the relationship between perception and attitude. The study used descriptive-correlational design. The participants involved 29 employers with 200 employed physically challenged employees with ages 20-58 years old, participants are composed of 6 males and 23 females, In terms of marital status of employers, out of 29 respondents, 16 are single and only 13 are married. The study revealed that the demographic characteristic of employers as age, sex and marital status was found to be not significantly related to perception of employers towards physically challenged employees. It also revealed that the demographic characteristics of employers as age, sex, and marital status was found not significantly related to their attitude towards physically challenged employees. On the other hand, perception of employers is significantly related to their attitude towards physically challenged employee
