Abstract: BILOG, NICALYNNE L. and MALIMBAN, ANICA JAHNA B. Astral Mission: Development of 2D Android Game. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Ms. Lydia D. Perido. The study was conducted from March 2016 to April 2017 at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite to develop an Astral Mission: Development of 2D game for android. The development of mobile application for Astral Mission: Development of 2D Game for Android was conducted to help the players for the enhancement of cognitive thinking, to give thrill when it comes to mystery-paranormal game, and give a game that has a storyline for the user to enjoy the game and at the same time gaining information about the out-of-body experience or the astral projection. The methodology used was the agile methodology. It consists of six phases: brainstorm, documentation, design, development, quality testing, and deployment. For the development of the 2D android game, the researchers used a computer system with the following specifications: Windows 10 Enterprise 64 bits Operating System and 4GB RAM. The developers also used Construct2 Integrated Development Environment, Adobe Photoshop CS6 for graphics making, and Intel XDK HTML5 Cross-Platform Development kit v.3759. For the implementation, the minimum specification used for the system requires 16 Android API or Android 4.0, 2 GB of RAM, and 1024x768 pixel screen resolution. It is recommended to exceed with the minimum requirement stated to be able to experience the navigation without any interruption. the researchers' parents, for their unending love, patience, understanding, support, and for providing the researchers' needs financially and morally to take this study possible; and above all, the Almighty God, for His unconditional love and blessings, for giving them enough knowledge and ability to perform each challenge He has given that made stronger than ever, for providing perfect guidance and wisdom to realize every plan, and for His countless blessings that enabled them to surpass all the trials in their lives.
