Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2006. Adviser: Engr. Marcelino A. Dagasdas Jr. The design project "Proposed Development and Socialized Housing Plan in Brgy. Mangas, Alfonso, Cavite" was conducted from June 2005 to January 2006 under the supervision of Engr. Marcelino A. Dagasdas Jr. The objectives of the study were to enhance the knowledge learned in site development plan and reinforced concrete design of housing units. The Proposed Development and Socialized Housing Plan in Brgy. Mangas, Alfonso, Cavite consist of 287 housing units, perimeter fence, concrete road pavement, pathwalk, drainage and water supply system (including water tank). It provided the necessary documents such as architectural plan, design and computation of concrete road pavement, perimeter fence, water consumption, centralized septic tank, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, drainage system and detailed cost estimates. The reinforced concrete design of housing units was based on the output of Structural Aided Analysis and Design (STAAD), the standards and specifications prescribed in the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP), ACI Code and specification for Ultimate Stress Design (USD). A miniature scaled model was developed to show its actual appearance.
