Abstract: CASANOVA, JEFERSON M. Benefits and Privileges of Employees of BATELEC I, Calaca, Batangas, Case Study. Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Human Resource Development Management. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. October 2014. Adviser: Prof. Maria Corazon A. Buena. The case study was conducted in BATELEC I, located at km.116 National Highway Calaca, Batangas from July 22, 2013 to September 06, 2013. This study aimed to describe the benefits and privileges of the employees of BATELEC 1, Calaca, Batangas. Specifically, it meant to: 1) determine the benefits and privileges of employees in BATELEC 1, Calaca, Batangas; 2)determine the basis of the company in giving incentives; 3) determine how they administer employee benefits; and 4) identify the problems encountered and recommend feasible solutions. Descriptive method of research was used in this study to describe the benefits and privileges of employees in BATELEC 1, Calaca, Batangas. The study provides the data by analysis and interpretation of observations, interviews and discussions inside the firm. This study also presented the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threat or SWOT analysis of the benefits and privileges of employees. The benefits and privileges of employees of BATELEC I were monetary and non-monetary. The basis of the company in giving incentives is the performance of BATELEC 1 as a whole. It might result for employees to be more motivated and can be a reason to boost their morale. With regards to the incentives, BATELEC I employees were receiving two kinds of incentives such as the monetary and non-monetary. BATELEC I administers their benefits through the supervision of National Electrification Administration. The different employees, benefits and privileges were analyzed based on their strength, weakness, opportunities and threats (SWOT).
