CAMACHO, MARISSA R., ROMEA, CHERRY-LOU L., and VIDALLON, JONALYN G. Design and Development of a Cellphone Controlled Monitoring System of the Internet Laboratory in Cavite State University Main Campus. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. March 2004. Adviser: Eng'r Mary-Ann D. Costa.
The project was conduct to design and develop a Cellphone Controlled Monitoring System of the Internet Laboratory in Cavite State University Main Campus. It was constructed at Buna Lejos Indang, Cavite from September to December 2003. The design was composed of three main circuit: the controller, the filter or input sensor circuit and the relay circuit. The construction involved the electromechanical and electronics devices. The electromechanical devices such as relays and contactor were used. The electronics devices such as diode, transistors and resistors were also used. The Design Project was presented to the proponent's Adviser and Technical Critic during the preliminary evaluation conducted at the DCEE Reading Room on January 14, 2004. It was done by presenting the actual device. The final evaluation of the design was conducted at the Accreditation Room of the Information Technology Building on January 19 2004. The whole system had undergone a series of testing and evaluation through questionnaires to ensure accuracy and reliability. The project was examined and was found out satisfactory. The performance of the system was favorable based on the proponent's main objective. The design project successfully has done its function to deactivate and activate the devices by short message. Based on the results of final evaluation, the performance had been found satisfactory.
