Abstract: HERRERA.JR., ROMULO S. and LAGUARDIA, CARL ANDREW A., Development Plan of Cavite State (University — Rosario Campus. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Cavite State University. Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Engr. Rico C. Asuncion. The development plan of Cavite State University — Rosario Campus and structural design of the proposed library were conducted from June 2014 to February 2015 at Cavite State University. The objectives of the study were to provide the development plan of the campus including the creation of a new layout, design of the improved sewerage and drainage system for the campus, structural design of a three-storey library, architectural design of the guard post and perimeter fence and estimate of the development cost of the campus excluding cost of labor and the cost of the library excluding electrical and plumbing. The Engineering Software STAAD (Structural Aided Analysis and Design) was used in the analysis of structural framework. The guidelines set by the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP) were followed in the design computation. The library was determined safe and costs about 1 1,066,294.57 php, including labor, materials and equipment. The development cost (storm and sanitary sewer system, pump and road network) is about 7,948,935.70 php excluding labor and equipment (Appendix 4). It was found out that the campus is depressed by four meters from Bacao road, for this matter, the researchers recommend that backfilling should not be done as a flood control solution. However, the sewer system plans constructed in this study could be implemented to solve the campus' flood problems The new sewer system was designed separately with the new drainage system. The sanitary sewer was designed to be processed in the treatment plan before mixing to the water in the catch basin. The catch basin was designed with a pump and was connected to Bacao road's sewer system It was concluded that the new development plan of Cavite State University — Rosario can be utilized by the campus' administration and is feasible to be a reference for future development of the campus. It is recommended that future researchers construct the detailed plan of the treatment plant, Including the mechanisms to be used in treating the campus' wastewater. The dimensions of catch basin for storm sewer line were not covered in the study. Future study for this matter is recommended.
