Abstract: AYES, ELMIRA MICAH A. and DOTE, DENNIS JAY L. Development of Inventory System of Laboratory Equipment and Supplies in Physical Science Department. Undergraduate Thesis Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Ms. Aiza E. Bihis. The study was conducted to develop an "Inventory System of Laboratory Equipment and Supplies in Physical Science Department" the system was developed for the benefit of the supply room and the laboratory technician of Physical Science Department. The system has only one user who was the laboratory technician, The system has four (4) modules namely: Account Management Module, Record Generator Module, Inventory Management Module and Report Management Module. Through the help of the system, it would give a convenient service for the students and instructors and would help the laboratory technician to transact the borrowing and returning of laboratory equipment and supplies easier and faster. The system would also secure the records of the borrowed and returned equipment and secure the inventory of the laboratory equipment and supplies. Expect the short time of work for the laboratory technician improvement in inventory using the system. The Iterative Life Cycle Model was used as the methodology of the system. It has eight ork flows which is the following: Planning and Requirements Phase, Analysis and Design Phase, implementation and Test Phase, and Evaluation and Deployment Phase. The system as developed using different development tools including the following: Adobe Photoshop CS6 for interface,PHP and MySQL as a programming language, Microsoft office for the outline, Power Point Presentation The system was evaluated by the non-technical and technical participants based on the given criteria: Functionality, Reliability, Usability, Efficiency, and Portability. Evaluators were composed of laboratory technician, students and faculty members of Physical Science Department and IT Experts. The system passed all the given criteria in the evaluation and met all the aimed features and functionality as well as the requirements and its objective.
