Hospitals are known for having a hectic working environment. The researchers want to determine whether selected private hospitals do not just focus on their operations and profit but also conduct different corporate social responsibility programs to show their concern for the welfare of the people and the environment. This study aimed to find out the corporate social responsibility programs of selected private hospitals in Cavite. Specifically, it aimed to: (1) determine the profile of selected private hospital in Cavite; (2) determine the CSR programs being implemented, reasons and budget allocated in every program; (3) identify the status of CSR programs implemented; (4) determine the problems that the private hospitals encountered in the implementation of the CSR programs; (5) determine the socio-economic characteristic, awareness and satisfaction of CSR beneficiaries of selected private hospitals in Cavite and; (6) determine the significant relationship between the level of awareness and level of satisfaction of CSR beneficiaries towards the corporate social responsibility programs of selected private hospitals in Cavite. The participants of the study were the Human Resource Officers or the person in-charge in implementing CSR activities and also the 257 CSR beneficiaries from the community of the selected private hospitals in Cavite. The data were gathered through personal interviews with the aid of an interview schedule and survey questionnaire. Statistical tools were used such as frequency, count, mean, range, standard deviation to answer the objectives of the study. Spearman Rank Correlation was used in determining the relationship between the level of awareness and level of satisfaction of CSR beneficiaries towards corporate social responsibility programs of selected private hospitals in Cavite. Results showed that most of the beneficiaries belonged to age bracket of 25 to 31 years old, majority were female and most of them were married and college graduates. It was also found out that most of the selected private hospitals were registered as sole proprietorship, has been in operation for 5 to 53 years, has a total bed capacity of 10 to 33 hospital beds and majority of the hospitals has an accreditation level of 1 and allocate budget from Php 1,000 - 25,000 for the CSR programs . On the other hand, health care was the most implemented CSR program. It was also found out that the reason why private hospitals were engaged in CSR program was that it enhanced their corporate reputation and good will. The most common problem encountered by private hospitals in the implementation of CSR program is inadequate sponsor. Lastly, the results showed that there was a significant relationship between the level of awareness and level of satisfaction of beneficiaries towards the CSR programs implemented by the selected private hospitals.
