Abstract: FARIAS, ZUNDAE BRIGHT T. and FURIO. NICHAEL D. Management Information System of CYCON Incorporated. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser: Prof. Vanessa G. Coronado. The management information system of CYCON Incorporated aimed to manage the status of every complete and ongoing projects efficiently for an easier way of monitoring. The system provides an aid for the rapid creation, searching, storing, and updating ‘of projects. It serves a tool for checking the inventory of tools and equipment virtually which also includes in adding and viewing the quantity of the materials and its status that can be used in a project. Moreover, it minimizes human error in providing receipt and can consolidate the information to produce reports effectively. Furthermore, it provides an opportunity for CYCON Incorporated to eliminate unnecessary processes and human effort as it solves difficulties in manual processes. The methodology used and followed in development of the study was Rational Unified Process (RUP). The four phases of RUP are inception, elaboration, construction, and transition. Collectively, 20 technical and non-technical participants evaluated the developed system. The system was evaluated by the participants based on functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability, and user-friendliness. In overall evaluation, the mean of 4.64 showed that the system is functioning well and is able to meet the business requirements of the intended users.
