Abstract: MARASIGAN, ROMELITO RODRIGUEZ, Don Severino Agricultural College, April 1990. Supplementation of Broiler Grower/Finisher Ration with Sweet Potato Leaf Meal (SPLM). Major Adviser : Professor Camilo F. Guevara Jr. Two hundred forty (240) five week old broiler were used in this study to determine the effect of varying levels of SPLM on the body weight, feed consumption, feed efficiency and income over feed and chick cost (IOFCC) of broilers. Results indicated that the body weight of birds fed with SPLM supplemented feeds were not affected either positively or negatively by the different treatments. Slight reductions in the amount of commercial feeds were attained in favor of birds receiving SPLM. Feed efficiency did not vary between the treated and untreated ration. High IOFCC values were obtained among birds fed with five percent and ten percent SPLM. The most ideal rate of SPLM supplementation for broiler ration that could be recommended is five percent level for more economical production of broiler.
