Pruning was done one week after planting, each plant pruned according to their assigned treatments. Treatment O (control)' was not subjected to pruning to serve as basis for determining the difference of pruned plants, Treatment L (2 leaves left after pruning), Treatment 2 (3 leaves left after pruning) and Treatment 3 (4 leaves left after pruning) were the treatments used in this study.
