Abstract: The study, "Response of the Different Ages of Bougainvillea Stem Cuttings to Indole Butyric Acid", was conducted in Kayquit, Indang, Cavite from April 9, 1 80 to July 15, 1980 to determine the proper ages of bougainvillea stem cuttings that would favorably respond to Indole Butyric Acid. Highly significant results were obtained in average length of roots in centimeters per cutting and the average length of shoots in centimeters per cutting while significant results were obtained in the average number of roots per cutting. Insignificant results were obtained in the average number of shoots per cutting and percentage of survival. Treatment 2 (semi-hard wood cutting) favorably responded to IBA with the highest number of roots and number of shoots, the longest of roots and high percentage survival.
