The study was conducted from August 2018 to May 2019 in the Cavite State University to determine the study habits and academic performance of selected Criminology students in Cavite State University, specifically it aimed to: determine the demographic profile of selected Criminology students in Cavite State University; determine the study habits of selected Criminology students in Cavite State University; determine the academic performance of selected Criminology students in Cavite State University; determine the significant relationship between study habits and demographic profile of selected Criminology students in Cavite State University; and determine the significant relationship between study habits and academic performance of selected Criminology students in Cavite State University. Descriptive correlational research was used in this study. With the use of adapted survey questionnaire were done to gather pertinent data. The participants were composed of eighty six (86) Criminology students ranging from 18 to 26 years old from Cavite State University. In demographic profile of selected Criminology students in Cavite State University most of the participants were 20 years of age; and most of the participants were male. As to the study habits of selected Criminology students in Cavite State University, the result shows that the most effective study habits was studying on a quiet environment, were they are the only one who stays on that place. As to the academic performance of selected Criminology students in Cavite State University, the result shows that the majority of the students have a good academic performance with an average of 2.00 — 2.25. There is a significant relationship between study habits and demographic profile of selected Criminology students in Cavite State University. Further, there is no significant relationship between study habits and academic performance of selected Criminology students in Cavite State University.
