Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. November 2015. Adviser: Florindo C. I Ilagan, PhD. This study was conducted to investigate the employability of the Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Human Resource Development Management graduates from 2012-2015. Specifically, it aimed to determine the socio-demographic profile, employment profile, employability, factors that influence the employability, and the problems encountered by Bachelor of Science in Business Management (BSBM) major in Human Resource Development Management graduates (I-IRDM) of Cavite State University. The study employed a descriptive design and surveyed 95 BSBM major in HRDM graduates from 2012 to 2015. Descriptive statistical tools were used to analyze and present the data and results. Most of the participants graduated in the year 2015. Majority belonged to the 21 to 22 years age bracket with a mean age of 22 years, female, single, Roman Catholic and currently employed. Most of the BSBM major in HRDM graduates were mostly employed in the private sector, occupied rank and file position and with regular status. They have been employed for an average of nine months. Preparation was found to be the most helpful factor in getting employment. Based on the results, possession of the right skill was the most helpful for the BSBM major in HRDM graduates to get a job. The level of skill was found the primary consideration of companies in hiring. The graduates felt that the university had adequately prepared them for work and that they were at par with other applicants. The major problems met by the participants in seeking for a job was the lack of experience.
