Abstract: ATIENZA, MARIANE JOY A., OSTRIA, PAULINE B., PANGANIBAN, ROSE JEAN G. Academic hardiness, Self-efficacy level and peer conflict of selected student researchers in Cavite State University-Main Campus. Undergraduate thesis. Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Cavite State University, lndang, Cavite. May 2017, Adviser: Ms. Armi Grace B. Desingaño, RPM, MAEd. This study was conducted to determine the significant relationship between academic hardiness, sell -efficacy level, and peer conflict. Specifically, it aimed to determine the academic hardiness, self-efficacy level, and peer conflict among selected student-researchers in Cavite State University-Main Campus. The researchers used the descriptive- correlation design (quantitative approach) which involved 388 participants from six colleges in Cavite State University Main-Campus, namely: College of Engineering and Informational Technology (CEIT), College of Economics, Management and Developmental Studies(CEMDS), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Agriculture, Food, Environment and Natural Resources (CAF'ENR), College of Physical Education and Recreation (CSPEAR), and College of Nursing (CON). The results revealed that participants have a durable level of academic hardiness, very efficient level of self-efficacy and somewhat amenable level of peer conflict. Meanwhile, it was found that academic hardiness and self-efficacy had a significant relationship. It implies that student who has high self-efficacy affects their academic hardiness: having efficacious outlook, set themselves in challenging goals and maintain the strong commitment in the task and quickly recover their sense of efficacy after failures. A validated academic hardiness and self- efficacy test determined the level of academic hardiness and self-efficacy level in peer conflict of selected student researchers in Cavite State University. Then, with the use of statistical method particularly the Spearman's Rank Correlation resulted to significant correlation between the level of academic hardiness and self-efficacy of selected student researchers.
