The study was conducted to determine whether the motivating factors have a significant relationship with the work performance of the contractual non-academic personnel at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. It aimed to determinethe demographic profile of the respondents, their satisfaction level to the motivating factors in terms of dissatisfied, fairly satisfied, moderately satisfied, and very satisfied, and their performance level in terms of poor, fair, satisfactory, very satisfactory and outstanding. This study was conducted at Cavite state university, Indang, Cavite from December 2005 to January 2006. A total of 65 contractual non-academic personnel were given questionnaires regarding the motivating factors and work performance. The result of the study revealed that the respondents are moderately satisfied to the motivating factors, and the work performance is outstanding. It was recommended that the managers, supervisors and other superiors should keep 'Warm working environment for the employees to maintain their high motivation level and for the high performance level.
