Abstract: DE SAGUN, JHELYN M., DITABLAN, CARLENE C., SIGUENZA, RAIZZA VANIZZA M. DEMOGRAPHIC PROFILE AND PSYCHOSOCIAL LEVEL OF ACADEMIC ACHIEVERS AT TAGAYTAY CITY SCIENCE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL. This study was conducted at Tagaytay City Science National High School from July 2015 to January 2016. It aimed to determine the demographic profile, psychosocial level and if is there a significant relationship between the demographic profile and psychosocial level of the participants. The study requested the participation of forty participants, all academic achievers at Tagaytay City Science National High School from the different year level of S.Y.2015- 2016. The participants were selected using purposive sampling technique, they were surveyed using self-constructed questionnaire that helped, guided and facilitated the course of the study. The self-constructed questionnaire is formatted using Likert Scale. A five-point rating scale was utilized in the questionnaire. Forty seven statements was included, excluding the demographic profile. The researchers gave a questionnaire measuring psychosocial level of the academic achievers. The researchers focused on the said school. It was found out that the majority of the participants 11 belonged to the 15 age group. The academic achievers as participants represent an almost equal number by gender category where 23 females and 17 males. Each academic year level was having a frequency of 10. It implies that each academic year level has only top 10 achievers. The study revealed that most of the participants fell under Neutral which has verbal interpretation of Average in their psychosocial level. It means that the participants were an average person in dealing with others and themselves. It has been revealed that age, gender, academic year level and socio-economic status have no significant relationship with the psychosocial level of the participants. These means that regardless of the age, gender, academic year level and socio-economic status, the psychosocial level of participants were not affected. In the light of these findings, the following conclusions were drawn: That, it is concluded that most of the participants are in average level of their psychosocial. They are more focused on their studies because their school focuses on academic which is science curriculum to maintain their rank on the best science high school in Cavite. Every student competes to each other to have high grades so that they are in average level in terms of socializing to other students. That, it is further concluded that regardless to their gender it would not affect their psychosocial level because most of the male and female students have same psychosocial level in terms of their academic and psychosocial. That, it is also concluded that some of the participants have financial difficulties it does not affect their academic performance and they are still belong to the class achievers. In terms of academic behavior most of them showed high average performance on their classes. This was due to their determination to become academic achievers.

It has been revealed that age, gender, academic year level and socio-economic status have no significant relationship with the psychosocial level of the participants. These means that regardless of the age, gender, academic year level and socio-economic status, the psychosocial level of participants were not affected.

In the light of these findings, the following conclusions were drawn:

That, it is concluded that most of the participants are in average level of their psychosocial. They are more focused on their studies because their school focuses on academic which is science curriculum to maintain their rank on the best science high school in Cavite.
