This study is titled Awareness and Attitude of Different Stakeholders of the K-12 Program in Cavite: It’s Implications in the Educational System conducted at General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School, Tanza National Comprehensive High School and Trece Martires City National High School, in public schools and Infant Jesus Academy, Saint Augustine School and Our Lady of Remedios Montessori School, in private schools. It aimed specifically to: 1) identify the awareness level of the participants in terms of curriculum, additional number of years, allotted time for subjects, grading system, and subjects; 2) determine the attitude of the participants towards the K-12 Program in Cavite; and 3) determine the significant relationship between awareness and attitude of the respondents of the K-12 Program in Cavite. The objectives were achieved through the use of quantitative-qualitative approach which means that the results of objective numbers 1, 2 and 3 were further elaborated by Statistical measures, while objective numbers 4, 5 and 6 were answered through the use of Focus Group Discussion. The instrument that was used in the study was modified to fit for the quantitative part. However, for the FGD, guide questions were used. The participants of the study were 83 grade 9 teachers, 313 grade 9 students and 313 parents from private and public schools. The participants of the study were selected through stratified random and cluster sampling technique. The result of the study in quantitative part reveals that the stakeholders, the teachers, students and parents got high awareness and positive attitude towards K-12 program. For qualitative part, it was found out that the more the stakeholders recognized the K-12 Program, the more they will have a positive outlook about K-12. Moreover, the results obtained that there is a significant relationship between awareness and attitude of different stakeholders of the K-12 program in Cavite. Stakeholders really appreciate what K-12 Program is because they believed that this program can develop a highly qualified, employable high school graduates contributory to improve this country.
